The Predictive Astrology programme is designed for students who have completed our Birth Chart Reading programme or possess equivalent foundational knowledge. It takes the interpretive skills you already have and layers on the dynamic, time-based techniques that allow you to forecast specific life events with precision.
You will study multi-level Dasha analysis, planetary transits over natal positions, Ashtakavarga scoring, annual charts (Varshaphal) and Prashna (horary) astrology. By the final module, you will be able to construct a detailed predictive timeline for any client — identifying windows of opportunity, periods of challenge and the most auspicious moments for major decisions.
Prerequisites
This programme builds directly on foundational Jyotish knowledge. To enrol, you must have completed one of the following:
Academy Jyotish Birth Chart Reading programme (or equivalent accredited course)
Demonstrable working knowledge of Rasi chart construction, planetary dignities, house significations and the basics of Vimshottari Dasha
A rapid consolidation of natal chart fundamentals with emphasis on the interpretive subtleties that underpin accurate prediction.
Module 2
Vimshottari Dasha — Deep Dive
Maha Dasha, Antar Dasha and Pratyantar Dasha analysis. Identifying which planets deliver results and when, based on house lordship and dignity.
Module 3
Yogini & Chara Dasha Systems
Alternative Dasha systems for cross-verification. When to rely on Yogini Dasha and how Chara Dasha (Jaimini) offers a sign-based perspective.
Module 4
Transit Analysis (Gochara)
How slow-moving planets (Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu/Ketu) trigger natal promises. Vedha, Vipreet and Moorti Nirnaya principles for refining transit predictions.
Module 5
Ashtakavarga System
Constructing Bhinnashtakavarga and Sarvashtakavarga tables. Using point totals to quantify planetary strength in transit and identify pivotal years.
Module 6
Varshaphal — Annual Charts
Building and interpreting Solar Return charts in the Tajika tradition. Muntha, Sahams and year-lord analysis for targeted annual predictions.
Module 7
Prashna — Horary Astrology
Casting a chart for the moment a question is asked. Judging Prashna charts for career, health, relationships and lost objects using classical rules.
Module 8
Predictive Case Studies — Career & Finance
Real-world examples of career changes, business ventures and financial fluctuations analysed through multiple predictive lenses.
Module 9
Predictive Case Studies — Health & Relationships
Applying predictive techniques to health patterns, surgical timing, marriage prospects and relationship transitions with sensitivity and precision.
Module 10
Integration & Capstone Project
Synthesise all predictive tools into a comprehensive client consultation. You will produce a full predictive report covering a five-year period for assessment.
