Module 1 — Introduction to Jyotish & Chart Construction
Explore the philosophical roots of Vedic astrology and understand how a birth chart is calculated from date, time and place of birth. You will learn the difference between the tropical and sidereal zodiacs, the role of Ayanamsha, and how to generate a North Indian and South Indian style chart using both manual methods and modern software.
Module 2 — The Twelve Rashis & Their Qualities
Study each of the twelve Rashis (signs) in depth, covering their elemental nature, modality, ruling planet and the behavioural patterns they impart. Through real-chart examples you will see how sign placement colours planetary expression and sets the stage for house-level analysis.
Module 3 — Bhavas: Understanding the Twelve Houses
The houses are the arenas of life where planetary energies manifest. This module examines the significations of each Bhava from the first house of self to the twelfth house of liberation, including the distinction between Kendra, Trikona and Dusthana houses and how house lords connect different life themes.
Module 4 — The Nine Grahas: Planets in Vedic Astrology
Meet the Navagraha — the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. Learn their natural significations, friendship and enmity relationships, exaltation and debilitation points, and the unique role of the shadow planets in shaping karmic patterns across the chart.
Module 5 — Aspects, Conjunctions & Core Yogas
Discover how planets interact through Drishti (aspects) and conjunctions, creating powerful combinations known as yogas. You will study essential yogas such as Gajakesari, Budhaditya, Viparita Raja and Neechabhanga Raja Yoga, learning to identify them quickly and assess their strength in any horoscope.
Module 6 — Synthesis & Practical Chart Reading
